The ASCO Model 2500 is resistive, AC load banks designed for operation indoors when up to 100 kW of load is required.
Cooling System
Approximately 2,112 CFM cooling is provided by eight (8) integral cooling fans.
Operator Controls
Digital monitoring via full digital metering (V, A, Hz, kW) with automated data acquisition and real time data logging, software IrDA converter supplied.
Local control panel including: Main Power On/Off switch, Power ON Indicator, Over-temperature Indicator, Load Voltage Selector switch for operation at 240 or 480 volts, and Master Load On/Off switch. Load selction is provided by individual industrial lever-type toggle switches.
Construction
The ASCO Model 2500 is constructed using heavy gauge aluminized steel per ASTM A463. It is designed for continous indoor operation. The load bank comes standard with a rugged transport case and 10′ load cable set. The transport case features fixed wheels and telescoping handle.
All load bank exterior fasteners are stainless steel. The load step relays, fuses, and fan/control relays are located in the main enclosure. Quick disconnect receptacles are located on the front of the load bank.
